what is "become a real boy"?
in simple terms, it's a character who is non-human (usually a robot or puppet of some kind, but can be vampire or other creature) who becomes "human" in some way - gains emotions, gains freedom, a human body, and so on. they either want it, or it happens naturally. it comes from the story of Pinocchio. you may find the full TVtropes explanation here
i, however, choose to apply it to any character who gains humanity even if they were already biologically human, as this is the reason i love this trope so much and is the reason i connect with it.

i collect cards to look at pretty pictures and idc about getting "all of them" !

Pokemon: i focus on Jolteon, bulbasaur, ninetales, rapidash, mewtwo, and some other favs, though i have a bunch of albums of different ones too! i'm looking at selling my rare ones that i don't care about, just don't have a feasible way to do it yet.

Digimon: i consider my Digimon collection "complete" at the moment; i collect cards of characters from Adventure, 02, and Frontier; all my other cards i want to sell when i find a way to do so.

Magic the gathering: i only collect magic cards that i like the look of (aka i like the picture) or collabs of things i enjoy, like lotr.

ygo: i consider my ygo collection complete as well, it focuses on Blue eyes and dark magician, with some other cards of characters/cards i like!

i've been collecting keychains since i was a small child! i don't have any way to display them all, though, and i've slowed down a bit, but i still like having one from each new place i go to.
